Ministries Fair - May 31-June 1

Did you ever wonder what happens around St. Joe's when Mass isn't going on? Have you ever thought about all the people who work each week to make our prayer together fruitful? How can you share the gifts God has given you with your brothers and sisters in the Lord? Come find the answers to all these questions at our annual Ministries Fair, hosted after all Masses on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1. Leaders of all our ministries will be present to explain how their ministries build up the kingdom of God on earth, and how you can add your unique gifts to the effort. Food and prizes add to the fun!

Bishop Trautman has announced that Rev. J. Thomas Dugan will return to St. Joseph's as Senior Associate, effective July 1. Many may remember a time some years ago when Fr. Dugan served St. Joe's as assistant pastor. He is quite delighted to return to the Valley and to St. Joe's, and Fr. Whitman looks forward to their shared ministry.

Serra Club Bus Trip to Priesthood Ordination - Friday, June 6

St. Joseph Church prays for Rev. Mr. Tim Balliett and Rev. Mr. Johnathan Schmolt as they prepare for their ordination to the priesthood of Jesus Christ. To celebrate the occasion and to invite more young men to consider a priestly vocation, the Serra Club of Mercer County organizes a bus trip to Erie each year for the priesthood ordinations. This year, the bus trip includes a tour of St. Mark's Center in Erie, dinner at Golden Corral, and a tour of St. Peter's Cathedral prior to the Mass of Ordination. The Serra Club is happy to underwrite the cost of the trip for the young people of the area. For more information or to make reservations, please call the rectory.
